*How to change AVG language:
Open the AVG User Interface -> Tools menu -> Advanced settings.
In the Appearance section, please choose the language you wish to use.
Click OK to save the configuration and restart AVG (close the user interface and then run it again by double-clicking the AVG icon on desktop or in the system tray).

AVG for Windows upgrade to 8.5 :
Upgrade from 8.0 to 8.5:
Download the latest installation file from www.avg.com.
Run the downloaded file and choose the Uninstall option to uninstall the previous AVG edition.
Reboot your computer.
Run the downloaded file again and proceed with the installation.
When prompted, enter your new license number to install this version of the AVG.

Support of AVG 7.5 extended :
The official support of AVG 7.5 will be extended. All paid products of AVG 7.5 will be supported until April 30, 2009. The support of AVG Anti-Spyware (former Ewido Anti-Spyware) will end on December 31, 2008.

End of support of some OSs in 2008
Some older operating systems such as Microsoft Windows ME, Microsoft Windows NT and Microsoft Windows 98 will only be supported until August 2008 as a minimum. Date: 2007.08.16
AVG 7.5 Launched !
Migration from AVG 7.1 to AVG 7.5
- All AVG 7.1 users will be able to upgrade their AVG 7.1 to the corresponding AVG 7.5 edition without any charge. Current AVG 7.1 users will download a program update that will include AVG 7.5.
- AVG 7.1 Sales/License Numbers that you have purchased can be used for AVG 7.5 installation without problems. Of course, you will be able to convert AVG 7.1 Sales Numbers into License Numbers after AVG 7.5 is released.
